It's a fair question. And unfortunately, a lot of removalists make it harder to answer than it needs to be. Vague quotes, surprise charges on the day, and confusing pricing structures are more common than they should be in this industry.
At Ring A Mover, we do things differently. Our pricing is straightforward, you choose the truck size that suits your move, and we charge you an hourly rate. That's it. No fuel levies buried in the fine print. No extra charges for a flight of stairs. No bill shock at the end.

Included In Every Booking
What's Always Included in the Price.
Before we get into the trucks, here's what every single booking includes, regardless of which option you choose:
2 professional movers on every job.
You're not hiring a truck and doing the heavy lifting yourself. Two experienced team members come with every booking, handle all the loading and unloading, and make sure your belongings are transported safely.
Hourly billing with no minimums hidden in the rate.
The clock starts when we arrive at your pickup address. It stops when the last item is placed at your new location. Simple.
Same rate seven days a week.
We don't charge a weekend premium. If you need to move on a Saturday because that's when it works for you, the price is exactly the same as a weekday.
Honest time estimates.
Once you tell us about your move, how many rooms, what suburb, what items, we'll give you a realistic estimate of how long the job will take. We'd rather give you an accurate picture upfront than have you feel blindsided afterwards.

Choosing the Right Truck Size
This is the most important decision you'll make when booking. The right truck means your whole move gets done in one trip, your time on the clock is kept to a minimum, and nothing is left behind or crammed in unsafely.
The wrong truck, usually one that's too small, means extra trips, extra time, and a higher total cost than necessary. We always recommend going up a size if you're on the fence.

Save On The Day
How to Keep Your Moving Costs Down
Be ready when we arrive. Every minute we're waiting is time on the clock. Have your boxes packed and sealed, furniture dismantled where possible, and pathways cleared before moving day.
Dismantle large furniture yourself if you can. Bed frames, flat-pack wardrobes, and large shelving units take time to pull apart on site. If you do this the night before, it speeds up the load significantly.
Be honest about what you're moving. Tell us about the piano, the large fridge, the three-seater corner sofa. These items affect how long the job takes and whether a larger truck is the better call. Surprises on moving day always cost more time.
Book in advance. Last-minute bookings sometimes limit your truck options, especially on busy weekends. Booking a week or two ahead gives you the full range of choices.
Pick the right size truck the first time. We know it can be tempting to book smaller to save money, but an undersized truck that needs two trips will almost always cost more than the right truck in the first place. When in doubt, go one size up, or just ask us.
